First ordeal of the day, this year's T.A.C. Awards. It seemed that the turn out was mostly 50/50 by the sheer confusion of some of the so called, "comments". Question, do you rely have to say the video is shit all because of a silly little transition? Answer, not in the slightest. Yes it did seem a bit cheesy for that type of series of videos that I posted, but to call the whole video awful all because of an effect just seems like an excuse to the highest caliber. Also, I was testing a lot of the effects to see if they would seem good and didn't expect one video to get so much negative reaction all because of that one transition. I'm still trying to get the hang of Vegas just after having it for the past two months, and still need some more practice with it. So if you are complaining about a video because of that transition, then make better criticism.
Secondly, the whole thing between me and the "accepting on Rayms' behalf" has already been resolved and even after the video replying to the matter it was still getting attention. Look, I already said that I was sorry about the whole thing and even said that I thought it wasn't going to harm anyone, but it's the question of why do you care if Raymscreator was nominated/voted for? I may not know what alot of people are thinking half the time, but some of you did however post what you thought. One of the purposes for this community is to respect other abridgers (even the deceased & living). The abridgers that nominated/voted for him thought it would be respectfull to allow him to win those awards, and shouldn't be judged on the matter. Remember, the results are caused by the abridgers; Not by the fans, not by me, but the abridgers.
Lastly, I most recently was reading a blogger account by the name of "The Abridgist" reading up on some of their articles and found one about the T.A.C. Awards. The info about it was interesting, and in a way confussing. For example about confussing, the part about:
"You can take issue with the specifics of how Chicknwings does things, the vague nature of his rules (when indeed he has any)"
This was discussed earlier on the forums where Kaiser did however bring up the topic, and was later resolved. The confussion comes to why is that still being brought up even tho the problem was taken care of? Maybe I being delussional on that quote but moving on:
"The winners are currently being announced in a seven-part video series on YouTube, of which five parts have been posted so far. If you want to know the winners while skipping about 40 minutes of host Chicknwings droning on like he's bored by the whole thing (as well as more of the jazz remix of the Gurren Lagann opening than the human mind can stand)"I do see where he was trying to go about with this quote. I do realize that I should have edited well better, and I understand that, but saying that I was droning like I didn't want to do the awards in the first place is kind of an understatement. That's just how I usually talk alot of the time, and you can even tell that I do the same while doing Vblogs (when ever I do get back to them that is). So yeah, you can call it a speech impedement, or what ever mental disease that you would diagnost it with, but people will get better about it. Seriously, shit happens.
The one final quote that confussed me the most was from Kaiser:
The 2nd Annual "Seriously, Chicknwings, Get Your Shit Together" Award: KaiserNekoAs I said earlier about the rules part of the awards, that was resolved before votings were counted up. So why is it that I seemed to have missed something here? Editing, check. Presentation, check. Everything else, check. So seriously, what the hell did I miss from that quote? I guess I'm just so confussed by all this, who knows.
Well I guess that'll be it for now, I'll write some more shit when ever I fucking feel like it.
So until then, peace.
